yeah dude, i totally agree. loving a person for who they are in whole is an integral foundation of what love should be, and yes, one deffinately must choose to take the whole, or take nothing. i just feel that sometimes i convince myself that i love a woman, when in reality, and in rhetrospect, i see that what i was actually in love with was the feeling of no longer being alone. and that, my friend, cannot be true love... that's kinda what i was getting at.
